Coronavirus: calls for personal protective equipment for first-time medical staff – BBC News

Primary care doctors say the BBC is concerned about the lack of personal protection when it comes to fighting coronaviruses in the UK. According to the British Medical Association, thousands of doctors are still not getting the equipment they need to treat patients with coronaviruses. The doctor’s union says some medicines can be very sick and others can die. But the government says 15 million masks have been delivered to trusted NHSs across the country as of Monday.

Prince Charles tested positive for coronavirus. Clarence House says it is showing “mild symptoms” but is otherwise in good health.

Sophie Raworth presents the BBC News tonight and unveils the day’s events with BBC Health Editor Hugh Pym, Medical Correspondent Fergus Walsh, Royal Correspondent Nicholas Witchell, and Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg.
