Ballot box access to Manalapan; How do you vote

MANALABAN, NJ – To help ensure ballots are collected and counted correctly in November, Monmouth County is installing 17 ballot boxes in municipalities across the region.

In August, Governor Phil Murphy made the decision on November 3 to mainly vote by mail. Voters will have several options when it comes to obtaining their ballot papers: mail it back, deliver it at the polling site on November 3, or use one of the new ballot boxes.

Expect to start getting ballot papers mailed soon. All registered voters can post full ballot papers into a drop box by 8 PM on November 3 at the following locations:

“It is important to remember that every mailed ballot will be counted, in accordance with state law, before provisional votes from Election Day are reviewed, verified and counted,” said Monmouth County Clerk, Christine Hanlon. “If you feel strongly about going to the polls on Election Day, 3 November, I encourage you to bring the full ballot in the mail and simply drop it. Voters who wish to vote in person will be allowed to do so as each municipality will have one open polling site and at least 50 percent will be open per county.
