He has sold seven cookbooks inspired by Middle Eastern education to a German / Italian family and has six restaurants and grocery stores throughout London. Since arriving in London 20 years ago, Yotam Ottolenghi has been tasked with helping the British see vegetables as something other than a “necessary evil”. Although not vegetarian himself, his latest book, “The Last Taste,” is entirely plant-based.
