Coronavirus: Trump extends US rules beyond Easter – BBC News
President Donald Trump has said that federal guidelines for coronaviruses like social distance will be extended throughout the US until at least April 30.
He previously suggested that they could be relaxed as early as mid-April.
“The highest death rate could hit within two weeks,” Trump said.
The expert was talking about the peaks of infection rates that hospitals can overflow.
White House Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci earlier warned that the virus could kill 200,000 Americans.
Dr. Fauci said it was “unthinkable” for millions of Americans to eventually become infected.
