Locals in Perthshire received a surprise early morning wake-up call last week after an earthquake shook the area for the fifth time in a month.

The British Geological Society (BGS) recorded the magnitude 2.3 earthquake near Blackford, as residents reported feeling shivering.

The earthquake struck at 5.54 am on Monday at a depth of two kilometers.
