The wrinkles on Biden’s shirt sparked a conspiracy theory

Prior to the president’s first debate, an unfounded conspiracy theory flooded many Americans. The Trump campaign, the numerous Facebook pages supported by Fox News and Trump, sparked speculation that Democratic candidate for President Joe Biden would lead a secret face to support the debate against President Trump. “I thought Biden had someone in his ear,” a Trump supporter said the morning after the first presidential debate. His belief was shattered, he said during the discussion through a video that saw Biden supposedly fitting a wire. In fact, the video does not show Biden wearing a wire; He shows a wrinkle that briefly forms on Biden’s shirt after it has penetrated the coat to the itchy shoulder. But when false evidence emerged in support of the baseless claim, it came out like wildfire.
