A fragile ceasefire has begun over the controversial Nagorno-Karabakh issue in Armenia and Azerbaijan – after nearly two weeks of fighting, with hundreds killed. Recent reports say most areas are quiet. Nagorno Karabakh is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan, but is populated and ruled by ethnic Armenians who moved away from Azerbaijan in the 1990s.
