Joe Biden tried to clarify his position on the “packing of the courts” – to add a judge to the Supreme Court to get a sympathetic verdict – after weeks of trying to avoid the question. Early in the response, Biden reiterated that he is not a “fan” of court vessels, but said that the Supreme Court’s confirmation by Judge Amy Coney Barrett will depend on “how it is handled”. Asked what that means, Biden said it would be conditioned if there was a “real” debate on the Senate floor. “I’m open to considering what’s going on from that moment on,” he said. Pressed by ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, if voters have a right to know their position, he said, “They have a right to know where I am. They have a right to know where I am before they vote.” “So will you take a clear stance before Election Day?” Stephanopoulos asked. Biden replied, “Yes. Depending on how they handle this.” #Biden #USE election #CNN # News.
