According to data from the National Center of Seismology (NCS), an earthquake of average magnitude 3.2 on the Richter scale occurred at 8.44 p.m. Sunday in Churachandpur district in southern Manipur and was at a depth of 27 km.

A large earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale occurred late on the night of October 10 in Tamenglong District at a depth of 28 km.

Another small earthquake measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale struck at 11.39 pm on Saturday in the same area and was at a depth of 30 km.
