This is the third reported earthquake from Manipur this month.

According to data from the National Center of Seismology (NCS), an earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale occurred at 8.44 pm on Sunday in the Churachandpur district in Manipur.

The earthquake struck Manipur at a depth of 27 km (latitude: 24.57 north, longitude: 93.58 east).

And on Sunday, Sikkim also reported an earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale at 12.6 pm. The earthquake struck eastern Sikkim at a depth of 5 km.

Earlier, a 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck the Bishnupur district in Manipur on October 8 at 9.05 pm, the National Center of Seismology (NCS) said.

The quake struck 17 km west of Bishnupur at a depth of 36 km. On October 3, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake was reported near Bishnupur in Manipur.

The epicenter was 30 km from west to northwest from Bishnupur. The earthquake struck at 11:08 pm at a depth of 5 km from the surface.
