Sub-Episode III 58: Vancouver Whitecaps Continue to Winning Earthquakes

In episode 58 of the third part of the podcast, Alexander Janji-Rosic and Samuel Rowan dived into Vancouver Whitecaps’ victory over San Jose Earthquakes last weekend, before looking forward to their confrontation against the Seattle Sounders in the middle of the week.

In this episode, Alex and Sam are back, as usual, this time to chat with another victory in Vancouver Whitecaps!

After the captain’s side secured a victory over San Jose Earthquakes last weekend, they dived into how the match would progress, as Vancouver overcame a slow start and a fatal defensive foul to achieve a stark victory.

Then they get into a discussion about these kinds of victories and how true they are, as “hats” recently found a way to get results, but not always through the most beautiful means.

While this might mean qualifying, the question of the long-term implications of such a thing is worth pondering, especially if many of these players don’t end up in the next season.

After diving into the other parts of the game, they finish off the San Jose talk by taking a look at “Sub-Part Three of the Game,” which in that part goes to Andy Rose and Christian Gutierrez, giving one word to each of their performances. .

To wrap things up, they then look forward to the next “hats match”, which will take place against Seattle in the middle of the week, and they give a prediction of how the match will go.
