Coronavirus: China’s city closes public transport – BBC News

 



A Chinese city of nearly 11 million people will have to temporarily shut down public transport in an attempt to stop the outbreak of a new virus. The outbreak of coronavirus has killed 17 people so far, and more than 500 cases have been confirmed. Those living in the city of Wuhan have been advised not to attend, as millions of people are expected to attend the upcoming New Moon holidays.
