Doctors warn that mixing cocaine and alcohol together creates a “deadly combination” that can exacerbate violent and impulsive behavior. The Victoria Derbyshire program found that at least 13 “self-inflicted” deaths occurred among people who took two substances in England. Many, including two contestants from Love Island, took their own lives between April 2018 and March 2019. Critics have reported an increase in such cases.
