Coronavirus: India has promised millions of dollars to fight pandemics as deaths rise

The World Bank has pledged $ 1 billion to India to help fight the coronavirus pandemic. The city of Mumbai has some of the highest rates in India, and is crowded into gardens. There are over one million coronavirus cases worldwide. Europe is still at the epicenter of the explosion. It has caused more than 14,000 deaths in Italy, and the death toll has begun to slow. In France, the death toll continues to rise. Paris police are enforcing stringent measures against railroads, airports and major controlled roads to prevent them from leaving the city.
