Trump has called for a halt to the counting of votes, claiming victory in advance

President Donald Trump appeared in the White House East Hall on Wednesday morning to falsely claim that he had beaten Democrat Joe Biden this morning, and that the election had been stolen in a massive fraudulent act. He promised a challenge in the Supreme Court and said he would win states that were still counting votes, including Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Elections have not yet been won, and the president and former vice president are still locked in a close fight for decisive states with millions still voting. Trump’s remarks were essentially a request not to receive the votes legally cast by American citizens in a historic act of freedom. Since Trump began polluting the election, fearing he might lose a month ago, many have approached the potential constitutional nightmare they feared. His rhetorical side was also noticeable, as there was tremendous tension in a highly divided nation – where the president, who is in the process of writing his political destiny – was expected to call for calm. Trump’s comments were particularly noteworthy, as it seems the president has a good chance of winning great states in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, North Carolina and Michigan, which could give him a second term. And the result of his authoritarian remarks was that the president wants the vote count to stay in those states, but to stay in Arizona, on the trail of Biden. # 2020 Elections # CNN # News.
