The Prime Minister has stressed that a four-week closure in England will be enough to reduce the rate of coronavirus infections. Boris Johnson said he realized people were tired and disgusted, but there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Essential stores are closed. Bars can only be taken away by restaurants. And in an unexpected move, Chancellor Rishi Suna announced that the scheme for temporary releases from the UK has been extended until the end of March. The Furlough program will now be implemented across the UK over the next five months. The government will pay 80% of wages for hours worked by workers affected by the pandemic.
