President-elect Joe Biden has called for an end to Trump divisions – BBC News

Joe Biden has begun work on the U.S. president-elect, selecting the first members of the coronavirus team to work to deal with the pandemic. Former US Republican President George W Bush has congratulated Mr Biden on his victory. He said the election was “basically fair and a clear result”. Donald Trump has yet to accept the result and has claimed that the election has been “stolen” without providing any evidence. Since being named the winner, in his first speech, Biden told supporters he wanted to “reclaim America’s soul” – and told those who didn’t vote to give each other a chance.
