Boris Johnson said he is “in a good mood” after spending the night with coronavirus in hospital.
The Prime Minister was taken to St Thomas’ Hospital in London on Sunday evening with “persistent symptoms” – including temperature and cough – for routine testing.
He remains in charge of the government, although Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab addressed Monday’s coronavir meeting.
Mr Johnson, 55, was positive about coronavirus 10 days ago.
In one report, he said he was “in touch with my team, fighting against this virus and keeping everyone safe.”
