Igor Bilokurov disappeared in 1988 in Afghanistan as a Soviet soldier. Originally from western Ukraine, her 78-year-old mother thought she would never see him again and gave up hope. He also made a tombstone. But earlier this year a man with some physical resemblance to him approached a group of Ukrainians on their way to Afghanistan. He says he suffers from memory loss, possibly due to an injury, and says he has no memories of being Igor, but says he comes from the same part of Ukraine. Could it be him?
