Raab: PM Johnson is a fighter and will recover – BBC News
The Foreign Secretary said he was sure he would “pull” the Prime Minister because he was a “fighter”.
Speaking on the daily coronavirus, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who is in the prime minister’s office, said that Mr. Johnson was not only the leader, but “our friend as well.”
“So all our thoughts and prayers are with the Prime Minister at this time, with Carriere and his entire family,” he said.
“And I’m sure he’ll go, if I know one thing about this prime minister: he’s a fighter. And he’ll come back to the finish line, take us through this crisis shortly.”
The number of deaths in the coronavirus hospital in the UK has risen to 6,159, a day that has risen to 786 by the Department of Health and Social Care, compared with 439 on Monday.
