A new order to stay at home in California is valid due to the Coronavirus

The revised stay-at-home order will go into effect in most parts of California starting Saturday morning, as part of a new effort to slow the rapid spread of the coronavirus.

Most unnecessary activities outside the home are prohibited from 10 PM to 5 AM in Purple Layer counties, it continues until December 21, although it can be extended. External card rooms, mini golf, small carts, and punching cages provide a maximum of 50% of the outdoor capacity. Services in personal care establishments may only be provided by scheduling an appointment for clients wearing face coverings by employees wearing face coverings. Those that require the client or employees to remove the face covering, such as facials and shaving, are not permitted. Food and beverages cannot be served to clients in these establishments. Restaurants, breweries, wineries, and all other retail establishments deemed unnecessary should close their doors to the public from 10pm to 6am, but they can continue to offer takeout and delivery service during those hours.

With COVID-19 spreading at a rapid rate, officials have warned that other public health interventions may become necessary to stop transmission.

During the seven-day period ending Friday, 10,981 people in California were reported infected per day on average – a number that has only doubled in the past two weeks. This is worse than the peak in the summer, which was by far the worst rise in California for COVID-19, according to an analysis of the Times data.

For the first time, California recorded three days last week when more than 13,000 new infections were recorded per day.
