A magnitude 4.9 earthquake occurred early in the morning of Thursday, November 26, 2020 at 5.51 am local time near Massachaba, Nicaragua, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), and according to preliminary data, the earthquake was located at a shallow depth From 27 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deep earthquakes because they are closer to the surface.
