Marina Diamandis, first known as Marina & The Diamonds, has listed music that blends powerful pop and powerful sound. Her songs have dealt with female stereotypes, rape culture, and the frivolity of fame, but her latest album was in 2015. Marina spent three years and went on to study psychology and adhesion theory. After returning with her new album, she talks to Krishnan about returning to music, writing about how political events have affected her, and how the media needs to change how women are treated.
