China coronaviruses: Beijing canceled Chinese New Year celebrations – BBC News

Blockade is escalating to try to control the spread of a new virus that has left 17 dead in China’s Hubei Province.

Wuhan, the capital of the 11 million population that created the virus, has no trains and planes inside or outside.

At least four other provincial cities are seeing transport attacks.

There are more than 500 cases of the virus spread abroad, most recently affected by Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam.
