In a landmark ruling, the Supreme Court stated that adolescents under the age of 16 are unlikely to reach the age of 16 to allow the re-assignment of puberty blockers to allow gender reassignment. The verdict was a lawsuit against Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust. It runs the only child gender identity service in England.
