A fourth in China has died as a result of a new virus that has spread rapidly across the country, confirming that authorities can pass from person to person.

An 89-year-old man was the victim of a new strain of coronavirus, which caused a type of pneumonia.

He lived in Wuhan, the city in the middle of an explosion.

More than 200 cases have now been reported in major cities in China, Beijing and Shanghai.
