Most places in the U.S. state of California are under a sharp new blockade as coronaviruses rise nationwide. Household orders affect about 85% of the state’s 40 million people. It will be available for at least three weeks and covers the Christmas holidays. Many businesses will be closed, and people will be banned from meeting with anyone outside their home.
