Dolly Parton says she wears high heels even when cooking

Is there anything that Dolly Parton can’t do? She has written and sang lots of hit songs, has a new Christmas album, movies, an amusement park, and even helped fund the COVID-19 vaccine. It’s basically superhuman, as far as we’re concerned. In a recent interview, she confirmed this by saying that she always wears high heels … even when cooking.

The singer was interviewed by RuPaul’s drag icon Marie Claire this month and the two talked about everything from their spirituality to their morning routine to all of their upcoming Christmas projects. But of course, we’re here for food, and Dolly has given us loads of ideas on that too.

First, RuPaul asked Dolly what she had for breakfast that morning, and it seemed like she made a whole bunch of delicious food: “This morning I made breakfast for my husband and me. She made some sausage muffins, baked some biscuits, and made some milk broth. He likes That’s once in a while. RuPaul went to ask Dolly if she’d done all of that while wearing her high heels, and she had the best response: “I always wear my high heels. Right?” RuPaul said he doesn’t, and is assuming he’s taking “all of those things” when he’s done performing. But not Dolly!

“Well, I don’t. I always have to stay ready – always ready for the street, I always say. I have to keep my makeup on and keep my hair polished. Like, when I’m in Los Angeles – I told you she – if it’s going to be an earthquake, or if it’s going to have an earthquake, it won’t I run on the street as if you are looking now.
