Parton was interviewed by RuPaul’s Drag Race host for Marie Claire. In discussion, they chatted about the home life of the singer, Miley Cyrus, Parton’s granddaughter, and more. But one part of the interview was the Internet in Stitches due to the shadow that Barton threw at RuPaul.

After detailing her morning routine (which she got up for at 3 a.m. to start!), The Emmy Award-winning hostess annoyed the country star wondering if she was wearing high heels while preparing breakfast for herself and husband Carl Dean.

“I always wear my high heels. Right?” Parton asked the Drag Queen.

“No. Here’s the thing: There are similarities in what we do, but I am removing all of these,” RuPaul replied. And here came Barton’s logic to always stay shining.

I have to wear heels in order to access my closets. But I always enjoy wearing shoes too, and I feel more like me. But I can get off, though. I’m comfortable.” In my skin.
