Masks selling coronaviruses and fraud scams online – BBC News

British companies and individuals have lost more than $ 1.86 billion in coronavirus-related scams since the crisis began, police have revealed – all from fake companies that don’t sell products like masks and sanitizers.

A BBC investigation has found that criminals in West Africa have created hundreds of scam websites over the past month to buy most bulk goods from businesses, hospitals and on-boarders.
