The cruise ship can stay in San Francisco barracks for two weeks – BBC News

There are 140 British citizens out of 2,500 people aboard a San Francisco ship after a passenger died of coronaviruses.

There are 21 other alleged cases – 10 of them crew – on the big princess.

Proof kits have flown by helicopter after killing a man in the 1970s.

David Chiu, a Democrat member of the California state assembly, said the boat could stay there for up to two weeks.

“It has to be docked at some point. Our state’s public health infrastructure and expertise are second to none. So there is a risk that there is no place. California is a good thing,” he said.

“But that being said, it is clear that we all have a concern to ensure well-being, both to serve passengers aboard and to support the wider California community.”
