The EU and the UK have reached a post-Brexit trade agreement, ending disagreements over fishing rights and future business rules. At a press conference on Downing Street, Boris Johnson said, “We have taken control of our laws and our destiny.” The prime minister added that while the arguments were “tough”, it was a “good deal for the whole of Europe”, boosting employment and prosperity.
