Windrush Veteran Stories

The personal stories of the Windrush generation – who came to life from the British wastes, often before the islands were independent states – have shocked the world. They have worked and lived in the UK for decades, but some in this country, as citizens, are raising doubts and doubts. In Peterborough, England, a British-based group of British-born British soldiers, many of whom served in the British Armed Forces every Friday and also fought in this country, fought for lunch and company. They told us what life here means to them and how they feel about their country.
