There is more evidence of intense NHS pressure as Covid-19 infections increase across the UK. NHS Trusts have warned that they have had to deal with a “very challenging” situation at the hospital with almost too many patients at the peak of the first wave of the pandemic in April. The London Ambulance Service said Boxing Day was one of the busiest days ever, with pressure added in the winter by coronaviruses.
