As coronary virus cases proliferate in the U.S., the main source of infection is prison clusters. Five of the five inmates tested positive for the virus, killing at least 1,700, according to the latest data from the Associated Press. The BBC has obtained telephone recordings of those currently incarcerated at the Huron Valley Women’s Correctional Facility on the outskirts of Detroit. The women’s rights group of inmates called the prison’s justice program created by the Michigan Criminal Justice Program of the Friends of America Service to monitor internal conditions.
