Congress has confirmed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next U.S. president and vice president. Electoral votes were approved after the Senate and House of Representatives voted against them in the states of Pennsylvania and Arizona. The regular session of congressional proceedings was interrupted on Wednesday when supporters of President Trump attacked the Capitol building.
