House Democrats plan to file indictments against President Trump as soon as Monday, according to several sources familiar with the matter. This could lead to a vote in the House until the middle of next week. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has not explicitly said when she will leave. It would be the second time the House has filed indictments against President Trump. In December 2019, the House indicted Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
