Is cannabis legalization coming to the UK?

The Home Secretary has promised to review the use of cannabis herbal remedies – his decision was asked for two cases of severe epilepsy in children, who were denied access to the medicines they needed.

Sajid Javid said in a review, he would look at whether cannabis-based medicines can have real benefits for patients, and then investigate the change in rules.

Families who have campaigned for change have welcomed the decision, but they said it needed a quick decision.
