Is India underestimated by coronavirus outbreaks? – BBC News
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended the blockade of the country until May 3.
The number of coronavirus cases in India has grown to over 10,000 and more than 300 people have died from the infection so far, according to data from John Hopkins University.
However, doctors have told the BBC that it is still unknown because the country’s true scale has been tested so far.
