Croatian Red Cross reports on the aid provided to earthquake victims so far

Zagreb, January 25, 2021 – The Croatian Red Cross said on Monday that it had received 68,378 donations for victims of the December 29 earthquake, totaling 44,305,655 kronor.

HCK records 3,368 people who left their homes after the earthquake

The HCK Search Service has so far recorded 3,368 people who have evacuated to temporary accommodation centers or left for other parts of the country.

HCK staff and volunteers are assisting earthquake victims in restoring contact with their families as well as identifying people whose whereabouts are unknown and who have not been evacuated to temporary shelters.

HCK teams work in evacuation centers and visit earthquake victims on a daily basis.

More than 580 tons of food, and 94 tons of cosmetics

To date, HCK has distributed more than 580 tons of food, 94 tons of toiletries, 46 tons of clothes, 2,174 heaters, 2,602 blankets, 114 power units, more than 3,000 packages containing baby food and equipment and more than 260 Package for animals.

More than 7,200 psychosocial support services were provided to earthquake victims.
