British man ‘signed pure torture confession’ Indian – BBC News

A Scot who has been in prison in India for three years without a sentence has told the BBC that he was tortured for signing a white confession. Jagtar Singh Johal, of Dumbarton, has been arrested under anti-terrorism laws in India on charges of conspiring to assassinate some right-wing Hindu leaders. Court documents allege that he helped fund the crimes and said he was a member of a “terrorist gang”. Johal told the BBC through his lawyer that he had a “false accusation”. Please subscribe HERE
