A European island off the coast of Estonia has been dubbed ‘Corona Island’ by locals after becoming the site of the virus.

The first Covid-19 cases on Saaremaa Island were created a month ago after a sporting event with an Italian team.

Health officials estimate that half of the island’s population has contracted the virus.
