Earthquakes shake Sparta six months after a strong earthquake in the state and regional city of Sparta

Earthquakes shook Sparta again Wednesday night, according to reports from the US Geological Survey.

The 2.4-magnitude earthquake started shortly after 11:00 pm while the 2.1-magnitude earthquake struck around 11:30 pm

Both were stationed near Sparta, the same town that withstood a 5.1-magnitude earthquake on August 9. People felt this earthquake all over North Carolina.
