Education and Covid: How can children make up for lost school time?  – BBC Newsnight

Many children have lost months teaching in the classroom as a result of school closures. An additional € 400 million grant has been announced to announce € 300 million in investment projects in January. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the money will help ensure “no pandemic” and “no children left.” Teachers, experts and unions said the money was a “good start” but warned of horrific students and teachers.The prime minister has confirmed all students will return to classrooms as part of the first step on a roadmap to ease the closure in England from March 8.
