Coronavirus: Some European countries mitigate restrictions – BBC News

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said he hopes to reduce the number of blocks to be closed due to Covid-19, with children being kept inside for “fresh air.”

Europe’s largest economy, Germany, will allow 800 square feet (8,611 square feet) of shops and car dealers and bike shops to reopen.

Other countries such as Denmark have opened schools for children under the age of 11 to reopen their kindergarten on Monday. Germany will reopen some schools on May 4, though the most populous state is set to open from Monday.

Sweden has kept its schools open during the crisis. However, none of these countries have been caught as badly as Spain.
