Kevin Richardson spoke of being the first black actor to give voice to Dr. Julius Hibbert in the television comedy The Simpsons. He took the witness stand of Harry Shearer, who portrayed the black character, since 1990. The Simpsons producers announced last year that white actors would not play white characters.
