3 earthquakes shake parts of Mindanao

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Vivolex) said that three strong earthquakes struck several provinces in Mindanao between Sunday night and Monday dawn.

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck at 4:37 am Monday, 5 km southeast of Colombo, Sultan Kudarat.

Phivolcs said the earthquake was 8 km deep and felt its intensity 3 in Magsaysay, Davao del Sur and Instrumental Intensity III in Kidapawan City and Intensity I in Malungon, Sarangani and Koronadal City in South Cotabato.

Vivulks said, at 2:37 am, on Monday, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck about 22 km northeast of Malabatan, Sarangani.

The depth of the earthquake was 32 km and was felt in the intensity of the third machines in Malongon and Sarangani and the intensity of the second in the towns of Apple and Kiamba in Sarangani and in the public city of Santos.

9:34 pm An earthquake of 5.2 magnitude struck Sunday Davao Occidental.

The earthquake, which was tracked 168 km southeast of Sarangani at a depth of 132 km, was felt in the densities of the second machines and I was in Malongon, Abel and Kyamba in Sarangani and in the city of Coronadal, Toby and South Cotabato, respectively.
