Who buys Islamic State oil? BBC News

 



The war of words between Russia and Turkey is not reassuring. The initial disagreement was whether the Russian plane shot on November 24 had been in Turkish airspace. Russian President Putin has stated that the Islamic State of Turkey is involved in the illegal trade in oil.
Turkey has denied trading with Islamic State militants. Turkish President Erdogan has filed a lawsuit against Mr. Putin to prove the allegations.
