Johnson: The government can’t say when the blockade is eased – BBC News

At a time when the UK is at maximum risk in coronavirus brigades, Boris Johnson said he asked people not to lose patience in removing the blockade.

Not the first time he has recovered from the number 10 since he recovered from the virus, Johnson said he knew the blockade was “how hard and how stressful it was for many people.”

But people have asked him to continue “as you have followed so far.”

The prime minister returned to Downing Street on Sunday night.

Johnson was diagnosed with the virus a month ago. He was admitted to St Thomas ’Hospital in central London on 5 April and spent a week there, including three nights in intensive care.

He has not done any official government work at his country’s headquarters, the Checkers, at the time of the conviction, although last week he spoke with Queen Donald Trump and the US president, as well as meeting with top ministers.
