The tremor was recorded early in the afternoon of Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:12 pm local time, at a fairly shallow depth of 51.4 km below the surface, and the event was presented by the Japan National Institute of Earth Sciences Research and Disaster Resistance (Japan).
